Overview

Contractural Requirements

Contractural requirements usually define the scope of a flight test program. The customer that "purchases" these requirements may be the U.S. military, the foreign military, the FAA, an airline or your own company with a new or improvement of a product. The contract may be to prove your Model Specification is met, or your aircraft meets U. S. or foreign military specification or, the aircraft satisifies the FAA certification requirements.

At this point the flight test engineer must get into the details...

... the detail specification.
